THE GRIPPER !
We try to go HARD for the entire hourly season, so instead of resting between sets, Jack is performing a grip exercise for Reps which is included in 1 of his 3 Upper Body Circuits.
Increased Grip strength is essential to being a GREAT offensive lineman. Holding without getting penalized is an art,...but Jack's increased GRIP STRENGTH will help him dominate opponents at the line of scrimmage in `07 with "IRON CLAMPS!"

GRIP STRENGTH - - - Get in the RICE BUCKET!
NO - - - Katie is not making dinner,....she is increasing her GRIP STRENGTH by grabbing handfuls of rice for a timed set.
We have several different exercises to increase Grip Strength at Good Energy, but we still utilize the "old school" method of grabbing handfuls of rice.
The action of the fingers squeezing large handfuls of rice whether clockwise, counter clockwise or direct handfuls, stimulates the extensors in the hand and wrist to increase Grip Strength and Forearm recruitment.
The stronger Katie's forearms get --- she will increase her ability to create arm action power for proper running mechanics, which in turn, will facilitate her shoulder's ability to move more efficiently with Stronger Arm Action.
Keep up the Hard Work, Kate.

HEX-BAR FINGERTIP HAMMER CURLS !
Above is Blake Costanzo, NEW YORK JETS who suffered a broken wrist during training camp in 2006.
Following his wrist rehabilitation, we attacked Blake's wrist weakness head-on to give him the maximum potential to succeed this season both in NFL Europa and in training camp with the JETS.
He is peforming these finger tip curls to increase his fingertip's ability to grasp these weights and therefore increase his overall grip strength and ability to grab opposing blockers and throwdown ball carriers on the gridiron.
