Taylor C. during an intense Lower Body workout, enjoys Biceps incorporated into each Leg circuit. It has been said that Biceps are a Muscle for the Beach, however at Good Energy we like to have Symmetrical Strength! Your whole body should be strong, and we feel that our Client's approach their LEG days as intensely as their Upper Body day because they know they will get a few surprises to get them pumped. Don't underestimate the head-game within strength training. Knowing each and every client and how they tick separates Good Energy from GROUP GYM SESSIONS!!

Double Trouble - TRICEPS Superset !!
Above are the Kittredge brothers performing a tricep superset during their In-Season Strength Program. At GE you are not limited to conventional strength training. Our staff often says that your workout is only limited by our imagination and creativity or your effort.

NOT HARDCORE --- BUT VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE!
Okay, so really nothing to brag about in this shot (sorry Taylor), but wanted to show that we do whatever we can to not make our sessions "BOILER PLATE ~ GENERIC" workouts.
Above is Taylor Barrise - Junior Basketball Forward (1st Team All-League `05-`06) during one of his Pre-Season workouts. Taylor is training 3x-week @ GE despite rehabbing a knee-issue this Fall and we had to do what we could to make his Upper Body workouts ~ Sexy!
He definitely has increased his Upper Body Strength, which will help him withstand a long Hoops season, but we are thankful that he is back 100% and we can NOW simulate Basketball Movements as well as incorporate Lower Body Strength!

BACK TO BASICS...
TAYLOR CIALI...has worked hard ALL summer coming back from ACL surgery this past Spring. He is pictured above performing 21's with 85LBS during a Friday - Upper Body - "beach workout."
TAYLOR is on target to arrive at HOBART in several weeks to WOW everyone in Upstate New York of his Post-Surgery Progress!
Just recently TAYLOR has joined our LOWER BODY STRENGTH workouts and has been borrowing the Agility Ladder and SPARQ-Agiles to do some extra Speed & Agility work on his own.

ISOLATED 1 ARM Reverse GRIP TRICEPS
CASEY IS GETTING A STRONG UPPER BODY @ GE AS WELL!
Casey Gallagher has been pictured performing predominantly leg exercises, but as you know from bouncing around our site, Good Energy is about MAKING Athletes Stronger and more Explosive.
Above Casey is performing a superset for her Triceps at the end of an Upper Body Workout. She has already performed a Triangle Pushdown exercise and is challenging her muscle endurance by isolating her triceps with this unilateral movement. She will perform this exercise with her hand in two positions - palm up & palm down for a Maximum of Repetitions up to 15x.

TRX - TRICEPS !
Karen is performing a set of 20 repetitions/failure with this TRX tricep exercise. The TRX can vary in difficulty by how YOU manage your bodyweight.
Karen is leaning into this exercise to maximize the exertion of her triceps and therefore may not make it to 20, but she will get a good pump. Obviously!

Torry has been training at GE since he was a freshman...
...this is one of his final Saturday workouts before his senior Prom at Mahwah H.S. and we got his arms rolling so he felt strong in his tux!
