Pete Ohnegian is a passionate coach, teacher and personal trainer. Training at GOOD ENERGY is not only workout, but a positive life experience. If you have fitness goals, the determination to achieve your dreams and the courage to be disciplined, Pete and his staff can help you succeed.

Pete reached the highest level in football, getting paid to play, and he and his staff understand what it takes to play at every level and become a complete athlete. What is your goal? If YOU have the drive, we have the knowledge to help you with your fitness goals.

Following his extensive high school, college and pro athletic career, Pete coached football at the Division 1-AA level at Lafayette College where he was the defensive line coach, strength coach for football and local northern NJ recruiter in 1994-95.

Pete did not continue coaching in order to play 5 years in the Arena Football League, a stint in an NFL camp with the Dallas Cowboys in 1997 and the XFL in 2001. Pete worked hard improving and maintaining his strength, speed and agility during his playing days and diligently recovered from several serious injuries during his career including an ACL reconstruction and Lis Franc fracture of his left foot. The ideology of Good Energy is a compilation of Pete's experiences in weight rooms, on tracks and training rooms over the last 20 years. His training style is that of a Coach with attention to detail, positive reinforcement and a mentality that training safely and intensely is more important than how much weight you are pushing!

While playing in the Arena League and after, Pete earned a Screen Actor's Guild Card with credits in Any Given Sunday, The Replacement's, The Sixth Day and Law in Order, CI to name a few, along with numerous commercials and Big & Tall modeling gigs.

NOW IT'S ALL ABOUT GOOD ENERGY !!

Pete became a certified personal trainer in 2000 through the National Academy of Sport's Medicine (NASM) and has certifications as a performance enhancement specialist and sport's fitness specialist.

Pete has taken his passion for playing the game of football and transferred all his energy into the well-being of his vast clientele which ranges from adults looking for overall fitness and wellness, the adolescent looking for an introduction to strength training and conditioning, or the college or high school athlete looking for performance training and guidance in playing at the highest level.

Pete prides himself, his staff & Good Energy to be a place where you can improve your athletic ability, live a healthier lifestyle and be surrounded by positive attitudes and a culture that encourages you to try your best!

Good Energy is personal training where you CAN get stronger and faster and just feel better for yourself because it is about you. We are not a health club, class or school. Come here for personal attention & professionalism.

Pete is married to Katie (Kunisch), a former scholarship field hockey player at Miami of Ohio, multi-Bergen County Coach of the Year for the Northern Highlands High School Field Hockey team, and All-Decade 1980's field hockey goalie in The Bergen Record. Pete & Katie Ohnegian reside in Ramsey, NJ, where they are raising their three children, Allison, John and Andrew.
