Heather is our “in house” Sport’s Nutritionist. She is a professional free-lance registered dietician. Good Energy takes great pride in utilizing her services for our personal training & performance clients.
Nutrition and fitness have always been Heather’s passion. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from The University of Maryland in 1999.
Following graduation, Heather worked in New York City for an online beauty magazine leading a healthy lifestyle with daily exercise and proper eating habits. Soon after working in NYC, she left her position to pursue her “true-calling” and enrolled in Hunter College’s Nutrition program.
For the next several years, Heather studied nutrition at Hunter College, in New York City. She completed her Master of Science degree in Nutrition Education and Food Science from Montclair State University.
Heather has a vast clientele including professional athletes currently playing in the NFL, for the New York Yankees and training for the PRIDE Fighting Championships. Heather has worked with countless elite athlete’s who need to perform at the highest level. Her program has enabled these athletes to lose body fat & gain muscle dependent on their personal dietary needs to increase their performance.
People who work with Heather maximize their ability to perform better.
Regardless of whether you are a young athlete, corporate professional or housewife, Heather can put you on track to live healthier. Her expertise is in Sport’s Nutrition, but her ideology of “eating clean” with a scientific formula of meal timing, hydration, recovery & appropriate supplementation enables her Athlete’s to fuel properly and play better and for non-athlete’s to live a healthier lifestyle.
We know that Heather makes GE a better Performance Center because she is on staff and is the Best in the Business.
She is currently sharing her knowledge and commitment to the Nutrition field as an adjunct professor at Montclair State.
Heather and her husband, Nunzio have a son named Mikey and reside in Bergen County.
