Don Bosco grad Templeton All-Ivy for Brown

- been pancaking opponents with GE since `05

Add Jack Templeton’s name to the long list of Don Bosco graduates who’ve gone on to earn college football honors.

Templeton, a junior offensive tackle at Brown, has been selected to the All-Ivy League first team.

After moving from guard to right tackle as a sophomore, Templeton, who played on Brown’s undefeated junior varsity team as a freshman, moved to left tackle in spring practice.

The move paid off for the Bears and their 6-foot-3, 285-pound leader. Brown was 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the Ivy League as the offense generated 364.5 yards per game and 23.6 points. The offensive line allowed only 13 sacks.

Templeton tasted plenty of success at Don Bosco, where he was the team captain as a senior and also played hockey.

Sharing Good Energy with Hoop Dreams

Saturday, November 26, 2011

Allendale, NJ

It was our pleasure bringing Good Energy Training to the XTRA Pre-Season basketball session for Hoop Dreams this morning.

Pictured are the 9th Graders during their Movement Prep. We worked with the 9th Graders at 10am and then the Upperclassmen at 12:30pm.

It was fun for us to Introduce GE to OUR community's basketball players up the street & we will keep Walking the Walk!

Thanksgiving 2011

Ramsey, NJ

Pictured is Mike Casimos on our Home television Thanksgiving Day!

Mike & the IRONMEN of Don Bosco Prep had their way with the St. Joe's Green Knights on Thanksgiving & it was great to come home from the Dick Meighan Run & settle in to watch GE on TV!

The best part of the story is Mike, despite a dislocated finger & feeling the affects of a short week & rival game, WANTS to TRAIN with GE on Black Friday to prepare for next week's State Championship game vs. Bergen Catholic at Met Life Stadium!

"FINISH!" We preach Finishing at the Shop Every Day, & Mike is doing just that! Texting us to get another GOOD Lift in before his Final Game Week of his High School Career...

Super Bowl Champions!

Spencer Burke - Ramsey Titans

River Rale, NJ

Spencer Burke ran in our Speed Program Last Winter as well as played travel basketball & prepared for baseball. Following baseball this Spring, Spence prepared for football & suffered a serious forearm injury that made him miss some time for the Ramsey Titans.

This picture shows a Dad & son who could not be Prouder to Be on the BIG Stage & bring home the hardware after a 28-14 impressive Super Bowl win on Saturday night in River Vale.

Congratulations, Dan & Spencer Burke & the rest of the Ramsey 3rd & 4th Graders. An additional mention should be for the Ramsey Spartans. The Spartans also won their Super Bowl matchup on Saturday night coming from behind to beat crosstown rival Mahwah's 7th & 8th grade team 14-12. The Rams needed a 30 Yd score by ALL-Everything, RB/LB Austin Triglia to put the Rams ahead for good at the conclusion of the Game & then Triglia iced the TBirds with an interception on their last offensive drive.

Congratulations to ALL of GE that performed for both teams - Hard Work, Pays OFF!

BIG Ground Clearing Week at the Shop

November 7, 2011

Lots of work in the Shop, on the playing field & "next door" this past week as Good Energy Training looks forward to becoming 5x as BIG before the new year.

Crews took the adjacent spaces by storm this week as walls were knocked down, floors removed & bathrooms gutted.

We will continue to Train Hard at the Shop & Run at ETA as the "NEW GE" is fitted for it's makeover.

Stay tuned to the site & our FACEBOOK Page on updates on the renovation.

The Hale Center
Rutgers University

Good Energy Training owner, Pete Ohnegian had the pleasure of meeting with Director of Strength & Conditioning for Rutgers Football, Jay Butler on Friday for a three hour block of time.

Coach Butler is nationally known within the Strength training circle, so it was a great opportunity for GE to gain some knowledge, watch NJ's Division 1 school WORK & share some thoughts and ideas with regard to the upcoming expansion of GE.

Thanks to Rutgers Athletic Director, Tim Pernetti who connected us to Coach Butler and facilitated the meeting.

We look forward to watching the Scarlet Knights Saturday against West Virginia, especially since we were "on Campus" today!

Senior Day for Indian Hills H.S. Volleyball

Grbelja Victorious in Last Home Game

Thursday - 10.27.11
Oakland, NJ

Taylor Grbelja shined today in her last high school home game. Pictured with "Little GE" twins, Allison & John Ohnegian - Grbelja had plenty of digs & kills in the Lady Braves 2 game victory over the visiting Westwood Cardinals.

(25-21 & 25-13)

We are excited that we were a part of Taylor's last home game & hope to see her in Round 2 of the Group II Playoffs at Mahwah H.S. next week.

Grbelja will play next year for Muhlenberg College, but we had to see her at least one last time for the Lady Braves after 4 years of Hard Work in the GE Program.

A shoe-in for All County with her Record Setting year for Indian HIlls, you will hear more about Taylor's exploits this Season in the weeks to come.

A fitting farewell for a GE Standout!

Taylor Grbelja - Literally IN THE NEWS!

Tuesday October 25, 2011

Taylor is pictured during a "light" moment in the Shop, but for the last 4+ years, she has taken her training SERIOUS & her results on the Volleyball court Prove IT.

"Taylor Grbelja continues to perform at an All-County level, and in three matches last week - including a win over Ridgefield Park that avenged a Bergen tournament loss - she totaled 40 kills and 32 digs."

Grbelja is Muhlenberg College bound next Fall, but the GE Staff looks forward to watching her play on Senior Day this Thursday at Indian Hills, H.S.

We watched her as an 8th grader,
Trained her for FOUR Years...
then get to see her FINISH as an All-Star Senior!

Eltringham earns 3rd Place

2011 Bergen County XC Championships

Mahwah, NJ

For the 3rd time this year, Ramsey Boy's XC team edged out Indian Hills HS to take 1st Place in the Boy's Group B Bergen County XC Championship.

GE's Chris Eltringham was nudged out by a teammate for 2nd place but it was a thrill to see Chris race LIVE for the 1st time!

Chris hung his head for a minute following the race, but Hall of Fame NJSIAA Coach John Kirchoff was not having that! He told Chris to "Get your mind right and be excited that the Rams were Champs!"

And to add to that, we hope Chris has saved his BEST Race for the end of the Season!
