Eric Anderson Slams 3 Run Homer in 4-2 win

On Monday, April 14, 2009 the Highlanders beat Wayne Hills 4-2 to earn Coach Paul Albarella his 100th win and give Wayne Hills (6-1) their first loss of the 2009 campaign.

GE's Brendan Santry collected an RBI in the bottom of the fourth inning to cut the Patriots' lead to 2-1 and then Eric "the Bear" Anderson's bomb in the bottom of the fifth with one out, put the Highlanders on top for good as Will Patterson pitched 6 2/3 innings and held Wayne Hills to 2 runs in collecting the victory.

NASM CONFERENCE - Performance Enhancement

Friday - Saturday March 27 & 28th, 2009 - NYC

Good Energy's philosophy on "fighting the economic recession" is to get better!

Pete Ohnegian headed into NYC to the Embassy Suites across the street from the World Financial Center and soaked up some knowledge from some of the leaders in the World's Fitness Industry.

Led by Cal Strength & Conditioning Coach, Ken Miller, the 20+ Fitness Professionals in attendance listened, reviewed and applied the 15 + hours of Performance Specific Training & then spent several hours each day on applying the information LIVE!

Along with networking amongst professional trainers from Europe, Deleware and Maryland - Good Energy was able to share philosophical views with Ken Miller who trains not only with Cal Football but the gymnastics and softball program as well.

Do not use this economic downfall as a reason to not be productive or futuristic with your ideas and vision. Good Energy got better this weekend and looks forward to sharing some new ideas in its already established program.

Tuesday - March 25, 2009

Congratulations to Ramsey's goalie, Matt Braun who received the Bergen Record's Athlete of the Week for his 40 save shutout of Kinnelon in the Public B State Championship at the Prudential Center.

Braun, a junior, has excelled for the Rams between the pipes and is highly touted across the country for his talent as a goaltender.

He will savor this season with his hometown friends but may have some big decisions to make in the future as his prowess may take him to the Junior level next winter.

Congratulations, Matt & keep up the great play.

RAMSEY HOCKEY - STATE CHAMPS!

Saturday, March 21, 2009

The Ramsey Hockey team defeated Kinnelon 2-0 at the Prudential Center on Saturday to secure greatness.

Having suffered only one loss this winter, the Rams continued their "REFUSE TO LOSE" their last game campaign at The Rock.

Matt Braun, Bergen Record - Athlete of the Week made 40 saves and North Jersey Player of the Year, Jon Rainey led the Rams in their final three periods. Half the town of Ramsey was in Newark, NJ to watch Good Energy's Jake Fassler and company in their exciting last skate for the trophy.

Congratulations, Rams! GO GOOD ENERGY!

RAMSEY HOCKEY BEAT HIGHLANDS 4-1

Saturday, February 14, 2008

Mennen Arena

The Rams defeated the Highlanders 4-1 on Saturday to propel them the Finals at the Rock on Saturday 3-21-09 @ 1pm.

Matt Braun (pictured) hardly got tested in the first two periods, but the Highlanders snuck a shot through his legs to go up 1-0 which actually sparked the Rams.

Hats off to the Ramsey Coaches led by Bob Toy and the leadership of senior captain Jon Rainey who refused to lose as the Rams put two goals in the net shortly after going down 1-0.

Best of Luck this Saturday against Kinnelon and as Coach Toy said, "End the last game with a win!"

We appreciate your patience as well as your continued support by reading our site despite the stale material.
