What's NEW at the SHOP!

Fall Training - Week #3/12

Don Bosco Prep senior lacrosse player Brian Kittredge dragging the sled "into the Garage" during his Monday Leg Workout - 9/19/11.

Brian is getting ready for his BEST Lacrosse season yet! He has been contacted by several college lacrosse coaches but hopes to open more eyes this Spring before he chooses where he will play at the Next Level.

For those "NEW" to GE TRAINING, "pulling the sled into the Garage" is referring to those who DON'T drag the Sled thru the cone and "Leave it in the Driveway!"

We ALWAYS TEACH FINISHING whether it's pulling the sled, getting your last rep in a set of Bench Press or sprinting thru the cone at our Speed Workouts!

35 - 21 Ramsey Defeats Mahwah

Good Energy Training makes A DIFFERENCE

Captain Tommy Kelly kept the FIRE for the Rams during a long halftime after a 7-7 first half in which the two crosstown rivals were feeling each other out.

In the 2nd Half, the athletic ability of QB Nick Dispoto and Ramsey's defense stepped up, closed the door on the TBirds for a MUST WIN early in the Season between two of the favorites in Group II Football.

GOOD ENERGY CONTRIBUTED XXL:

TOMMY KELLY plunged over for a 2nd half touchdown.

CHRIS GORMALLY stole the ball away for a TD Reception.

RYAN WOODS continues to be consistent on kicking the ball deep on his kickoffs.

Junior NEIL FORRESTER is a presence on both sides of the Rams line.

TEDDY LINDE doing a solid job at his offensive tackle spot and spelling some big guys on defense.

KEVIN FANNING is ready to fill in both the 3rd receiver role and next defensive back IN!

Mahwah's Team trains at Velocity down the street from their school. We have 8 clients that contributed to the Rams effort Friday night.

Satisfied with GE RESULT'S!
Way to GO BOYZ!

Sneak Peak - Bosco preparing for Florida Trip

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

DON BOSCO PREP
Ramsey, NJ

So many people hate on the #1 team in the Country, because they are an "All Star" team, and the kid's "are recruited," but go take a look at a Don Bosco Prep practice and you will see one of the BIG reasons they are so good and will NEVER be "outconditioned" in the 4th quarter.

Coach Toal is the ULTIMATE Motivator.
Their practices are marathons.
The Coaches are TOUGH and they Teach.
Repetitions are Often.
Players are held accountable for assignments.
Oh yeah - talent from all over the northeast.

We are proud of GE's Mike Casimos and look forward to his success at left guard this Friday night in Florida when the Ironmen play Manatee.

Give `em hell, Mike.
THIS IS why you Lift ALL those Weights!!

KIMMY HAHN & WESTCONN travel to 201

Tuesday - September 13, 2011

Ramapo College
Mahwah, NJ

Kimmy Hahn has spent the last 4 Summers with Our Team at Good Energy.

She has worked harder each Pre-Season including this past Summer prior to her Senior year in which she was named Captain.

Although Kimmy and her team came up on the wrong end of a 1-0 game, it was great to watch her LIVE and see how she performs in her Sport and leads her teammates.

Kimmy was responsible for 2 saves on goal, although she is not the goalie & really led her defensive unit with her play & directions on the field during the entire game which was mostly played on her side of the field.

In defeat, we still Congratulate Kimmy for being a Leader on the Field and in Our Shop!

Hard Work - Pays Off!
Keep up the gr8 Work, Kimmy...

JASON McCOURTY REPORT

Starts in Week 1 Loss to Jacksonville Jaguars

McCourty solid in first start:

Titans DB Jason McCourty was the nickel back more times than not in 2010, but he beat out Alterraun Verner for the starting cornerback spot in 2011. He made the most of the opportunity Week 1 against the Jaguars, notching five tackles and a pass deflection. McCourty made one of the plays of the game for the defense as well, notching a strip-sack of Luke McCown in the loss.

Congratulations to Jason for coming back strong this Pre-Season & playing a great game albeit in a loss to Jacksonville in Week 1.

That 1st College Game!

Marc Teitelbaum & his Mom

Nothing beats that feeling for a young man or his Mom after his first College Game.

It was a Division 1 game in which Marc's Lafayette Leopards squeaked out a 2-1 victory against Rider, but so much more than that.

After ALL those years of Club soccer & driving around the country trying to get better & play more impressive opponents.

Marc proved to Everyone that he IS Division 1 and will have an Impressive 4 years in Easton, PA for the Leopards.

Congratulations to ALL the Teitelbaum's and a little pat on the back for GE!

WE are ALL Proud of YOU, MARC!

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!

FALL 2011 - Game Week #1

Cory Connell has been impressing everyone up at Albany University this Pre-Season.

We await with anticipation on word whether Cor will be redshirted as a freshman which was the plan, before he started making plays behind the line of scrimmage during training camp.

It's an exciting time for sure, especially when a kid like Cory who has trained with us since 7th Grade, is about to play Scholarship football.

We look forward to sharing All the GE Results as they come in this Fall and let you know what is up with the Shop as we start our Expansion Phase.

Back to School - Fall 2011

Michael Barrett

Michael Barrett will not be training this Fall at the Good Energy Training Shop.

Mike has decided to cram all his necessary Education classes into the Fall Semester so he can be one step closer to his Teaching Masters.

We will miss him at the Shop, but glad that he is following his passion for leading our nation's youth in the classroom.

It should be mentioned that Michael & Ty Nagel led a STRONG Ocean Beach II Lifeguard Team this Summer in which they boasted some impressive finishes in the National Lifeguard Competition in Cape May, New Jersey.

Good Luck Mike!
