This just in... -If you aren't an avid reader of the Indian Hills Volleyball box scorea then you have missed out on alot.

GE's Taylor Grbelja #19 is Leading the Lady Braves in a BIG way this season. Although they have dropped some close matches lately, Grbelja has been amassing a multitude of "Kills" in their matches.

Going into the weekend of October 14th, Grbelja is 4th in the State of New Jersey (Group II) with 128 kills!

We are so Proud that Taylor is on a Roll in her Senior season. She has worked hard with our Staff at the Good Energy Training Shop since 8th Grade!

Eltringham Leads the Rams to Division Title

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Woodland Park, NJ

For the second time in a week, the Indian Hills and Ramsey boys teams raced up the long, final hill at Garret Mountain on Tuesday with the race very much in doubt.

GE's Chris Eltringham finished 2nd in the race just 120 meters behind the winner Ben Malone from Pascack Valley, but it was junior Victor Sifunjo's sixth place and 20 seconds ahead of the Indian Hills Braves to break the 34-34 tiebreaker.

Sifunjo's 6th place finish clinched the Big North Patriot Division Boy's Cross Country Title for the Rams and avenged last year's loss to Indian Hills.

We look forward to training Chris Eltringham on Thursday night and preparing him for his next BIG race early next week.

CASIMOS Leads the Way for Don Bosco Prep

Sunday October 9, 2011

Do you see #77?

He's Not being a showoff, he's merely exalting in his glory after winning every individual battle against the defenders on St. Edward, Ohio.

Bosco won the game at Fordham University, 38-7.

GE was not at the game.

But if last night's game plan was similar to last week's Bergen Catholic game, then the Ironmen RAN BEHIND THE BIGGEST IRONMAN, Mike Casimos #77 Every Time they Needed yards!

Way to Go, Mike! LUV the Emotion-That's GE!

We hope for more excitement today with Live Action for the Boy's & Girl's Bergen County Soccer Tournaments as well as Field Hockey.

Alward helps Northern Highlands earn 2nd Seed

Friday, October 7, 2011

Allendale, NJ

The Northern Highlands field hockey team heads into the Bergen County Tournament beginning this Sunday. On Thursday, Junior midfielder Kayla Alward netted a nifty goal in a 2-1 loss to Wayne Hills.

The Highlanders have not beaten Wayne Hills since 2007, but Coach Rich Smith hopes the Highlanders will "get some revenge" should they meet again in this year's State Playoffs.

Good Energy's Kayla Alward & senior Captain Catherine Peebles will look to defend last year's County Championship in their first round game vs. Dwight Englewood on Sunday - 9:30am at Highlands.

Best of Luck to Kayla & Catherine this weekend and the rest of the 2011 season which has already knotched 8 victories.

WEEK 5 - October IS Here!

FALL TESTING - Phase 1 next Week

Hard to Believe, but we are almost 1/2 way through our Fall Strength & Conditioning Program!

Pictured is Senior Don Bosco Prep Lacrosse defenseman, Brian Kittredge. Strength Coach Chris Belcolle is preparing the TOWEL, an old fashioned tool to increase our Athlete's Bench Press.

This Week we have Bench Press with ChainZ and next week we will test and see the gains our Athlete's have achieved thru their Hard Work this Fall!

Winter comes quick after Thanksgiving & Wrestling, Swimming, plus Basketball are very physically demanding so we need to MAXIMIZE on Strength gains NOW!

Great to have the Rams "in the Shop" today.

For Neil it was a post-game Victory workout to get rid of some lactic acid.

Vince was getting his "In Season" Work in before his Junior Varsity game on Monday.

Cory was home for the Weekend catching up with us at the Shop and keeping some GE in his system during his Red Shirt Fall at Albany.

The excitement is building for GE to break ground on the expansion in the days to come and ALL our Athlete's are talking about workouts in the NEW GE this Winter!
